New pub date for Up to Her Neck
My publisher, Empress Editions, is moving from Hachette to Lakeside at the beginning of the year, which means a new publication date for Up to Her Neck. Here’s the official statement:

“Lakeside has moved publication to April 6, 2027, giving the book a focused spring launch and positioning it for a stronger season of in-store events. Retailer systems update on different schedules, so individual listings may take several weeks to reflect the new date.”
My personal statement is that I prefer an April release to January, especially for this fun, hair-raising thriller set in the Rocky Mountains. The plot is driven by environmental and development conflict in the modern West, and includes a nice dose of family dramedy — all in all great for book clubs, too. I have a couple of very exciting appearances scheduled to coincide with this new release date, and I’ll be able to share details soon - keep an eye on the events section of this website.
The fastest way to get book-related news, including special deals, sneak peaks, and live appearance dates, is to sign up for the newsletter here. I’ve got a really fun Christmas mashup story coming up in November that is NSFW. It’s called "Twenty-three and Me" and you will want to send it to all of your Elon-despising friends - I'll be publishing it behind the paywall on Gallivanting, but everyone on my email list will get a copy, too.
